Greetings FRN Atlanta Alumni,
I began my journey at FRN Roswell in February 2009. After trying on several roles, I finally found my niche working with the FRN Roswell Alumni Program.
Since our IOP was newly developed, I had the opportunity to begin our alumni program from scratch. So far, I have been reaching out to our alumni through letters, emails and calls. My goal is to strengthen our alumni program and to offer a strong recovery support network for our alumni and their families.
My goal as the Alumni Coordinator is maintain connection with all of our alumni and their families. Alumni are such a vital part of our program, and I feel honored to be able to foster these connections in a way which support healing for all involved. I have had so much fun planning and participating in our alumni events. We have hosted two Alumni Re-Charge events as well as a Wilderness and Kayak Day; and we are just getting warmed up!
I am looking forward to strengthening our FRN Atlanta Alumni Chapter. So far the alumni and their families have been so supportive and have such a wonderful enthusiasm for the Alumni Program. The support I have received from our alumni and staff have been incredible.
If you are wondering where I am from and who my “people” are as we say in the South, I am originally from Alabama, however I have been a member of the Atlanta community since 1995. I have worked in the chemical dependency field for 15 years. I have had an opportunity to work both in residential treatment programs, IOP and private practice. I am so grateful to be a part of people reclaiming hope and health in their lives. Having the opportunity to be a part of the FRN Atlanta Alumni Program only continues to nourish my spirit. Please call, email or facebook me anytime!
