Rediscovery Chapter Meeting
The purpose of Rediscovery meetings is to join alumni, family and friends of FRN in local chapter groups for the purpose of building lifetime relationships that support recovery, foster community and provide opportunities for ongoing learning and enrichment.
A huge thank-you to all the alumni, friends and family who came out to our first Rediscovery chapter meetings in August. We are working to plan the next events for each region, so come back soon for more information about upcoming meetings.
Special Events
FRN Atlanta Wilderness Day
Friday, October 7. Current patients and alumni are invited to join us at Camp Glisson in Dahlonega, Georgia. We’ll scale the Alpine Tower, do a trust-building activity and spirituality-based expressive art therapy, and end the day with a campfire including s’mores and hot dogs! Caravan will meet at FRN Atlanta at 9:00 am sharp and leave by 9:15 am. We will plan to leave camp by 5:00 pm. Contact Gibson Ellison, 404.583.9405 or Gibson.ellison@frnmail.com.
FRN Atlanta Alumni Recharge
October 19- 20, 2011. You’re invited to FRN Atlanta for two days of recharging your recovery. Special guest speakers Barbara Emmanuel, LCSW and Alyce Wellons, LCSW will present workshops on Healing Relationships and Families in Recovery. We’ll reconnect in process groups and share fellowship over delicious meals. All activities will take place at the gorgeous Chattahoochee River Landing in Roswell. Michael’s House Alumni Celebration
Saturday, October 22. Join Michael’s House for its twenty-second annual alumni celebration featuring a full day of workshops on healthy sexuality in recovery, a DBT skills refresher and experiential outdoor activities. We’ll end the day with a gourmet dinner in the courtyard, open 12-Step meeting, alumni speakers and a very special closing ceremony under the stars. The Canyon Holiday Party
Friday, December 16. Celebrate the holidays in style with The Canyon! Join us for an elegant evening with friends and enjoy gourmet treats created by our own Chef Gabe.
